Bowl-a-thons. Bike rides for charity. Golf tournaments. These, and many other fundraising events held in our communities, help support the University of Connecticut and UConn Health Center every year with a donation from event proceeds.
From large events like the Jim Calhoun Cancer Challenge Ride to family-centered fundraisers, many donors choose to support the mission of the University in this fashion.
The University of Connecticut Foundation is grateful for the support of community organizations, and we want to ensure that community fundraising events are conducted in compliance with all applicable laws. That is why we require community organizations to complete an event registration form at least 90 days prior to their event, and submit it to the UConn Foundation for review and approval.
To assist community organizations in planning their fundraising event, the Foundation has provided the event registration form and volunteer guidelines below. For further information, please contact Dee Goodrich, Director of Donor Relations.
If you are interested in organizing an event to benefit the Sandy Hook School Memorial Scholarship Fund, please consult the event registration form and volunteer guidelines that are specific to this fund. We ask that community organizations complete the event registration form at least 60 days prior to their event. We also strongly recommend that you contactDee Goodrich, Director of Donor Relations, to discuss your event prior to announcing it publicly.
